Who is Pete?
Pete's Buy List is named for Prakash "Pete", the founder's dad. Everyone called him Pete. Prakash means light, and that's the idea behind this site: shine a light on every wholesale price so you buy at the right time.
Where do the prices come from?
From the Current Price Lists that wholesalers are required to file with the New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control. We collect the filings for the top 30 wholesalers and load them twice a month.
Is this the official ABC site?
No. Pete's Buy List is an independent tool built by PourPoint.AI that reads the public filings. Prices are as filed by each wholesaler; always confirm with your sales rep before ordering.
How is the "w/ RIP" price worked out?
RIP rebates are paid back after you pay the invoice. We take the RIP for the highest level your order reaches off each case, then divide by the bottles in the case.
What happens after my 2 free searches?
You'll be asked to create an account with your email and a password. Then you can subscribe for $20 a month to keep searching, save your searches and build orders.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime from your account menu. You keep access until the end of the month you paid for.
